Hello, fellow flower lover! I'm Janette. Since 2018, my family and I have been growing specialty cut flowers for florists and event designers in the Waterloo/Southwest Ontario region. 

 

In 2022, we moved to a hillside along the Grand River just outside Elora, Ontario. We are surrounded by cropland, native forest and wildlife—including a pair of nesting bald eagles! So far we've planted 3500 tree saplings, 1000 peonies, a small orchard, vegetables, flowering shrubs, a large area of annuals, and several acres of cover crops that we're hoping to eventually transition to native wildflower meadow.

We grow organically as part of our commitment to the health of our land, our kids, and future generations. We're doing this imperfectly and learning a lot. Attempting to work with nature is rewarding and humbling, and we are grateful to be part of a strong community of other growers working together to share knowledge & friendship.
