Flowers are essential to well-being, yet they're out of reach for many people. One in ten Canadians are using food banks for themselves and their families, and that number is growing.

This includes our own friends, colleagues and neighbours who you'd never suspect are quietly struggling to put food on their table—let alone flowers—right now.

​

We're a group of flower farmers, florists and gardening enthusiasts on a mission to help.

How to Participate (Flower Farmers & Florists)

​

Before June 30, post a single bouquet giveaway on your social media for people who donate to your own local food bank. You could also donate a percentage of weekend sales or anything else that works for you.

How to Participate (Anyone)

​

If you buy peonies elsewhere or simply enjoy your own at home, would you be willing to participate by donating $5 directly to The Peony Project yourself?

 

If you’re a gardener:

You are absolutely welcome to participate however you like. If you want to give away your own peonies or other blooms to help raise funds, go for it!! Feel free to use the suggested content and tag us on social media so we can repost.
