PEONY PROJECT

for the Food Bank

Flowers are essential to well-being and should be accessible to everyone, yet one in ten households in Waterloo Region is struggling to put food on their table—let alone flowers—right now. This is a dilemma for flower pricing, because it is expensive and time-consuming to grow flowers organically. Selling them cheaply also hurts other flower growers who depend on a fair price for their livelihood.

So, here’s a way you can help:

Our peonies have been growing for three years and are finally coming into full bloom! We will be offering 5-stem bunches in June, and one hundred percent of your purchase will go directly to the Food Bank of Waterloo Region.

This will allow us to charge a fair price for a quality product, and you can know that your peonies are helping in a tangible way.

Don't need peonies but want to participate anyway? Donate here for the month of June.
